Diljit Dosanjh created history this week by becoming the first Punjabi star to feature on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show. His kurta-chadra represented Punjabi tradition on the global stage. What really stole the show was his bling watch. The singer-actor wore a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 41mm model in stainless steel and rose gold, encrusted with diamonds all over. The luxury watch was custom-designed for him by Jain The Jeweler and cost arounds ₹1.2 crore, according to a post by Diet Sabya. In addition to the exquisite watch, another interesting element in Diljit Dosanjh's OOTD was how he styled sneakers with a traditional outfit. He wore high-ankle Air Jordans, which gave a cool spin to the otherwise all-desi vibe. While Diljit's white kurta and chadra looked elegant, his turle wali pagg (turban) added an extra swag to his look.

It is not the first time that Diljit has made fashion headlines in traditional Punjabi attire. In one of his looks for Kalki 2898AD's song Bhairava Anthem, Diljit was seen rocking an all-black avatar. His monochromatic outfit included a kurta, chadra, turban and a sleeveless leather jacket. From the accessory aisle, he opted for his signature touch, a kadha in one hand and a watch on the other.
Before that, for a performance on his Dil-luminati Tour, Diljit Dosanjh wore an outfit that looked very similar to the one he picked for The Tonight Show. He paired a white half-sleeved kurta with a matching chadra. A white turban and black aviators made him look cool. His Chanel jacket and camouflage print gloves truly deserve a special mention.
