Diwali has just gone by but wedding season is just round the corner. And there's no better place to get outfit-inspiration than the fashionistas of Bollywood. The gorgeous B-town beauties had their favourite designers dress them as they went party hopping from one exclusive gathering to the other this festive season. The colours that dominated were emerald green and florescent yellow to eye-popping shades of red, purple and pink. We've carefully combed through their social media feeds to decode the designers that Bollywood stars were besotted with this season.

Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

From Sridevi and Sonam Kapoor to Sara Ali Khan, there is one designer duo's ensembles that every Bollywood celebrity wore this festive season. Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla stuck a common chord among Bollywood ladies this festive season. Be it a sari, suit or lehenga, Abu and Sandeep offered up designs that would thrill the pickiest fashionista.

Sara Ali Khan was seen in a black and silver anarkali suit embroidered with mirror work.

Sonam Kapoor looked chic in an off-white hand embroidered sari styled with a high neck cold shoulder blouse with pearls.

The glamorous Katrina Kaif was also spotted in one of a gold embellished suits by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Manish Malhotra

Sridevi dressed up in her festive best for Shabana Azmi's Diwali party, choosing a gorgeous cream-coloured silk sari by perennial Bollywood favourite Manish Malhotra. The English Vinglish star teamed the sari with a contrast blue and yellow check blouse. Her hair was tied up in a bun and a choker and glossy lips completed the look.

Shilpa Shetty dressed in pristine white lehenga paired with a blouse with floral motifs. She topped off her look with her signature bouncy, blow-dried hair.

Shamita Shetty was also seen wearing a Manish Malhotra creation.

Alia Bhatt was seen clad in a green brocade lehenga by Manish Malhotra.

Kriti Sanon was one of the many celebrities who attended Ekta Kapoor's Diwali bash wearing a Manish Malhotra design. She wore a blue feathered detailed crop top with a matching blue and white embroidered lehenga. We loved the fact that she kept her makeup simple.

In case you were wondering, yes, anarkalis are still very much in fashion. Shilpa Shetty looked absolutely stunning while posing in an exquisite anarkali by Falguni Shane Peacock.

Deepika Padukone spent her Diwali in a cream sari by Anamika Khanna, topped up with jewellery by Farah Khan. The organza sari  she wore for Anil Kapoor's Diwali party looked delicate and ethereal.
