Newly married Keerthy Suresh made all the right noises with her wedding day wardrobe. Now, she has dropped another style bomb, much to the delight of her fans. The actress showed up in an ivory Banarasi saree with motifs inspired by Baroque art and architecture across the border. She teamed it with a bralette pattern blouse.

Well, it wasn't just the outfit that became the talk of the town. We want you to focus on her neckpiece. The actress, whose upcoming film Akka was announced by Netflix at an impressive line-up of shows for the 2025 event, wore a tiger's claw pendant. Keerthy wore the same necklace in the Dharmaraj Shetty film. In the teaser released earlier this week, her character can be seen wearing the tiger's claw pendant.

But do you want to know the origin of the neck piece? The pendant signifies power and strength. As per The Met Museum, “The use of tiger claws as symbols of power and protection is an ancient motif in India, seen also in gold pendants from ninth-century Java and other regions of Asia.”

In Tamilian culture, tiger's claws are described as Pulinagam. The name is derived from two words: Puli means tiger and Nagam signifies nails. As per belief, the piece of jewellery has the power to improve the person's mental health, and willpower and ward off negative energies.
