On June 18, long-time sweethearts Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya tied the knot and kickstarted their happily ever after. For their big day, Karan and Drisha complemented each other in ethereal wedding outfits. Drisha Acharya took the classic route and opted for a glorious red lehenga from Sabyasachi. Her lehenga featured golden butis all over along with a sequinned border as well as an embellished hem. It was styled with a plunging neckline choli. A burnt orange dupatta adorned with intricate embroidery accompanied her look. Drisha also kept things minimalistic with her bridal jewellery, which consisted of a statement choker-style necklace, jhumkas, heavy-duty bangles and a maangtika. The groom looked dapper in an ivory sherwani, and a matching stole – both featuring subtle golden embroidery. His pagdi was adorned with pearl chains. The minimalistic approach was indeed a thoughtful pick for a day wedding.
Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya's reception took place the same day but in the evening. It was a star-studded affair but obviously, all eyes were on the newlyweds. Karan once again kept things simple in a black tuxedo. Meanwhile, Drisha looked enchanting in her heavy-duty golden number. The sleeveless gown was heavily embellished with pearls all over. She also carried a dupatta in the same hue and work. She simply opted for a pair of drop diamond earrings, a matching bracelet and a watch for accessories. Her glam game was spot on with perfectly winged eyeliner, a dewy base with blushed cheeks and glossy pink lips. The marriage glow was pretty evident on their faces.
Karan Deol is the eldest son of Sunny and Pooja Deol and grandson of veteran actor Dharmendra.
