Kajol And Rani Mukerji Up The Traditional Fashion Quotient In Their Resplendent Silk Sarees

The festive season has started with a bang and it wouldn't have the same impact if it wasn't without a traditional feel. Yes, contemporary twists and fusion beats might work well for any other occasion but where there are festivities, there are traditions. That applies to the dress code for festive functions as well. Durga Puja 2022 celebrations in the city of Mumbai have turned out to be a start-studded affair. The likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy and even Jaya Bachchan were seen visiting pandals for the occasion. While they all looked like a delight, it was the duo of Kajol and Rani Mukerji who got our attention.

The usually reclusive Rani was captured in a glorious traditional look for the celebration. She picked a gleaming saree which had a golden sheen to it and came with a matching gold short sleeved blouse. Rani wore it with a chunky gold necklace and red and white bangles on her arms. Her hair was pulled back in a bun and she sported a dark eye makeup look with contoured cheeks and a brown toned lip with a tiny bindi on her forehead.

Kajol was right beside her and kept up with the high traditional bar that Rani had set. She wore a pastel pink toned saree with a floral embellished blouse. Kajol's hair was worn in a tousled bun accented with flowers and she wore it along with a pair of jhumka earrings. Her radiant and dewy makeup matched it gorgeously.
