Elle Fanning's Embellished Link Crop Top Is Unlike Any Red Carpet Look We've Seen Before

The InStyle Awards took place recently and if we were attending, we wouldn't want to blink or we'd miss the fabulous fashion statements from Hollywood's elite. The likes of Kate Hudson, Lucy Hale and Cindy Crawford were in attendance at the event in Los Angeles but it was Elle Fanning who took our breathe away. Best known for being a child actor who is brimming with talent, this time it was Elle's sartorial choices that did the talking. The Hollywood actress picked a Balmain ensemble of a crop top and maxi skirt which was like nothing we've seen before. Her top was fashioned like a gold link with the chain enveloping the neck in a halter neckline along with being studded with stones. If you aren't the type to wear jewellery around your neck or fingers, this might certainly do the trick. Elle paired it with a simple black maxi skirt which showcased her washboard abs. With her blonde hair worn straight, Elle picked a punchy red lips, tinted cheeks and a matching manicure with metallic rings on her fingers. While managing to be statement-making yet subtle, Elle Fanning hit it out of the ball park with this one.

Mother and daughter Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber certainly made for the most stylish duo at the event. While the legendary supermodel picked a multi-tonal chevron patterned embellished gown, her daughter picked a white and black ombre gown with a feathered trim.

Kate Hudson would make Bruno Mars proud as she glittered like 24 karat magic in a gleaming metallic gold gown with a turtleneck and long sleeves.

It was Storm Reid who gave the event her edgy touch with an outfit of a black bandeau top and mini skirt with a Prada bag and neon orange pointed pumps. For jewellery, she wore hoops and a beaded necklace.
