There have been showers of blessings pouring over Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as they step into their journey as parents. It is natural to be overwhelmed with joy and Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram account to thank everyone for it. Alia Bhatt picked a gorgeous loved up picture of hers and Ranbir Kapoor's, presumably from their haldi ceremony which certainly was a secret up until now. Alia and Ranbir were dressed in their lovely summer wedding outfits where Alia picked a simple sleeveless orange anarkali and Ranbir picked an off white kurta set. The flower petals are almost symbolic of the outpour of blessings on blessings on the new parents-to-be. We spot Alia Bhatt's love for her chandbalis yet again moments before her big day only to prove that her love for this jewellery piece is an everlasting one.

Ranbir and Alia's wedding was truly a dreamy one. And it seems like a fitting time to go back in time, just a few months, to relive some of their gorgeous looks from the celebrations. The wedding was daytime perfection in specks of white and gold that both Alia and Ranbir basked in the sunshine so beautifully with. We're still left speechless when we are to speak about their glorious big day looks, so we will leave it at that.
Alia and Ranbir's mehendi was all about fun and frolic and they were matching yet again in shades of red. Alia Bhatt wore a patchwork lehenga with fabric scraps from all the distant corners of the country sown together. Ranbir Kapoor on the other hand kept it free flowing, presumably for all the dancing that followed, in a tone-on-tone Sabyasachi ensemble.

The wedding celebrations ended on an all new high followed by some more dancing and dazzle. Alia Bhatt was a sparkly vision in a silver Oscar De La Renta mini dress that was unmistakably made for a bride as vivacious as her.
There were pictures of her in a red anarkali also which matched the Nehru jacket of Ranbir Kapoor's all-white outfit otherwise and it is safe to say we were equally swooning in their pool of love (and good looks and style too).
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announced the pregnancy of their first child recently and have been the talk of the town for all the right reasons.
