We have never believed in the great minds think alike notion better than we did recently when Kriti Sanon and Anushka Sharma wore similar Richard Quinn gowns on the same day, at two different events. For an awards night, Kriti Sanon slipped into a gorgeous black and white gown. From the ruffles running across the strapless neckline to the white floral prints, adorned with white sequins, against the black backdrop running on the form-fitting column silhouette - we absolutely loved all the elements. A pair of small hoop earrings and black heels were the only accessories Kriti wore along with her statement-worthy gown. She opted for a bold and thick winged eyeliner for dramatic eye makeup, reminding us of Deepika Padukone's Cannes 2022 saree look. It was followed by dewy skin with a hint of blush and a dab of highlighter, well-done brows, and creamy nude lips rounded off her glowy glam. Her tresses were secured in a sleek bun hairdo.

On the other hand, Anushka Sharma made her Cannes Film Festival debut in a similar Richard Quinn gown. Anushka, who was among a slew of celebrities that made their entry for Loreal Paris, looked elegant and sharp in her off-white creation. Just like Kriti Sanon, Anushka's ensemble also showcased a dramatic ruffled neckline. It was followed by a gorgeous checked sequinned design running on the mermaid-cut column silhouette. The actress added Chopard jewels: a pair of diamond earrings and a yellow-stone ring, for a subtle hint of glimmer. To ace the makeup and hair, Anushka took the minimalistic route and enjoyed its maximal effect. She opted for glass skin, with a subtle blush and highlighter to complement the cheekbones. Anushka ditched the kohl and sided with minimal eye glam using nude eyeshadow and mascara-laden eyelashes. Pink lips for the win!
We would certainly never mind such coincidences in the fashion realm.
