Mohit Marwah, Sonam Kapoor's cousin, got married last night at the Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah in the UAE to his long time girlfriend, Antara Motiwala. As the world now knows through the myriad pictures that have emerged on social media, the entire Kapoor family in all their glory was more than present at this grand family wedding. Thanks to this wedding, one got to see all the glorious outfits worn by the star studded family. From Sridevi to her daughter Khushi Kapoor to Sonam's sister Rhea Kapoor - each one of them showcased their sartorial elegance and how. However, one couldn't help but notice that amongst all the many images that were being posted by family and friends, Sonam Kapoor was missing in action.
Sonam does seem to have arrived late for the wedding with her rumoured boyfriend Anand Ahuja. Sonam and Anand seem to have skipped the mehendi function, but even on their arrival, Sonam was missing from pictures. The few images that did emerge were of a caught-off-guard Sonam, going about her business as usual and posing unfeignedly with her friends. One couldn't really tell what Sonam was wearing.
Among all the fashionable pictures that were emerging from this wedding, though, we have to admit we really missed seeing Sonam's outfits. After all, no matter who's wearing what, Sonam Kapoor is the real fashionista in this family and otherwise.
Seems like the spell has finally been lifted, though, with Sonam Kapoor herself posting a picture from her cousin's wedding earlier today. We now finally get to see what Sonam wore for Mohit and Antara's wedding ceremony.
Sonam posted a picture posing with Anand Ahuja, Shweta Bachchan, Aarti Shetty, Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan. She can be seen wearing a beautiful yellow saree. Sonam left her hair loose with side braids that had floral detailing on them. Her kundan and precious stones necklace finished her look. Her soft makeup and red lips complimented her look to the tee.
Soon after Sonam posted, some of her friends and family members also began posting pictures with her in them. Seems like Sonam finally gave them permission to?

We love how her rumoured boyfriend, Anand, featured in most pictures with Sonam.
We also caught a glimpse of what Sonam was wearing at the sangeet. She picked a black and gold outfit and tied her hair back into a sleek braid. A maang tika, jhumkas and a polki necklace seem to have completed her look.
There you go. Finally, we get a look at what Sonam wore at this extravagant wedding. That's not to say that this is enough, though. We're hoping Sonam let's out pictures of all her outfits soon. We know we can't wait to see what the diva wore to all the functions and which designers she picked.
