First In A Sherwani, Then In A Suit, Ivanka Trump's Ethnic Looks Are On Point

It has been a momentous few days for the United States of America and India as US President Donald Trump visits the country with his family and close advisors. Amongst those accompanying him were FLOTUS Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner, both of whom are White House senior advisors. While agreements and trade talks between nations made headlines, so did Ivanka's choice of traditional attire with a modern twist. On the 2nd day of the visit, Ivanka visited Rashtrapati Bhavan in a tailored white sherwani by Anita Dongre featuring long sleeves, a buttoned front and straight fit trousers. With it, she wore heeled mules and a neutral makeup look. The classic Indian jacket is made in hand woven silk from Murshidabad West Bengal which Dongre describes as, "A powerful, standout silhouette, a sherwani carries the same charisma in absolutely any colour but my personal favourites are the evergreen blue, white and black."

The next event at Rashtrapati Bhavan was a state banquet which saw Ivanka and Jared in attendance. This time too, she didn't fail to make an impact at what would be her final appearance on this visit. Ivanka wore an ivory toned anarkali suit by Rohit Bal which was ankle-length with full sleeves. It showcased elaborate red floral embroidery work across its length with a gold variety over the sleeves.
