Vidya Malavade's dedication towards wellness never fails to resonate with fitness enthusiasts. Be it her yoga asanas or her gym routines, the actress' social media timeline is nothing less than a treasure trove of fitness inspiration. Well, adding yet another routine to her long list of workout sessions, Vidya has just dropped a clip of herself sweating it out in her gym. In the clip, the actress can be seen nailing a hip mobility routine called the 90/90 stretch. What does it do? It is amazing for “hip…mobility…stretch…strength,” the actress shared. The 90/90 is one of the most popular hip-opener stretches. This is a mobility drill that improves flexibility and motion in the hips. To perform this all you have to do is to rotate one hip externally and the other hip internally. While doing so the target should be that the knee must touch the ground at a 90-degree angle and repeat the process on the other side as well.

A few days back Vidya Malavade re-shared a throwback video on her Instagram Stories. In the clip, which was originally shared in April 2020, Vidya exhibited a “30-minute weight loss and strength building” asana. It started with the actress positioned in Utkata Konasana aka the Goddess Pose. While standing in the same position, she suggested her Instagram family push their tailbone forward. She gave the Goddess Pose a little twist by turning back as it gave a nice stretch to the spine. She repeated the process on the other side as well. The Goddess Pose helps in improving balance and coordination. The asana also strengthens the legs, glutes, pelvic floor, core, and shoulders. Sharing the clip, Vidya wrote, “30 minutes Weight loss, strength building practice…”

Before this, she demonstrated a perfect variation of asanas including the “Garudasana to Parshvabakasna/Side Crow Pose”. Vidya Malavade shared a video that began with her taking the Garudasana position and then swiftly transforming to the Side Crow Pose. The note, along with the clip also added a pro tip for beginners. The actress wrote, “Garudasana to Parshvabakasna/Side Crow Pose. (Pro-tip for beginners - hook the elbow & forearm in the hip socket of the low leg...so it becomes like a kickstand... easier to balance)…Let's try & keep the judgment away...& see it for what it is...a home practice!”
