The 71st Miss World opening ceremony kickstarted in the national capital on Tuesday. Femina Miss India World 2022 Sini Shetty is representing the nation in all her glory. At the prestigious opening ceremony, Sini Shetty brought Indian culture to the international stage with her look. The 22-year-old draped herself in a gleaming red Banarasi saree. The silk number came from the shelves of Jayanti Reddy and cost Rs 3,24,900, as per the designer's website. The magnificent six yard garment featured an overall work in gold tone that matched the embroidered border in scallop style. The delicate-looking saree was paired with a contrasting navy blue blouse with a plunging V-neckline and short sleeves. Traditional gold danglers completed her opening ceremony look. Sini ditched a necklace and carried only matching gold bangles in one hand. She left her voluminous tresses open and styled them with curled ends. Sini completed her look with a minimal glam that included demi-matte lips neutral eyes, with add-on lashes and bushy brows.
Talking about her pick, Sini Shetty said, “This timeless attire embodies grace, dignity, and the essence of femininity. Stepping into this legacy, I am thrilled to drape myself in this Banarasi Silk Saree by Jayanti Reddy. It captures the old-world charm and understated elegance, championing indigenous fabrics that are naturally dyed and celebrating the art of handwoven textiles. Adorned with intricate hand embroidery, the craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail elevate the designs, making a classical and deeply personal fashion statement.”
For another look at the Miss World contes, Sini Shetty rested her faith in the craftsmanship of Gujarat-based clothing label Jigya Patel. Yet again, this Miss India set the stage on fire in a traditional outfit. Sini wore a royal blue velvet kurta set. The heavily embellished two-piece number featured a long ankle-length kurta with straight matching trousers. The ravishing kurta was embellished with heavy work around her close-up neckline and subtle sequin detailing on the overall outfit. Apart from the broad embellished border, the hem of the kurta highlighted tassel work. A subtle gotta-patti lace enhanced the solid-hued pyjama. Full sleeves with leafy embellishment further amplified the two-piece set.
Sini Shetty wore this heavy duty gold suit by the designer duo Rimple and Harpreet Narula. The ashes of the rose tulle kurta with straight pants and dupatta came from the Karawan Collection of designers. The gorgeous piece highlighted an overall embellishment and tassel work.
