Artist Megan Thee Stallion doesn't just make style statements; she does them influentially enough to create a trend. The Grammy award-winning singer was recently pictured attending the Gaurav Gupta SS 2025 at Paris Couture Week wearing a brown corset and matching bottoms, overlayed by silver body chains structured over her frame from the neck down to form a likeness to a mini dress. Completing it was metallic head gear with chains splayed across her face.

But even in an outfit as outrageous as this one, it wasn't Megan's fashion choices that grabbed all of our attention. Complementing the metallic tones of the outfit was a fitting manicure that looked like nothing else you've seen before.

On the artist's nails were plotted an inverted version of a stiletto nail, where the nail bed sits at the top and the tip points inward rather than out. In her 'Get Ready With Me' video, she joked about the reason they were placed that way, saying, "My nails are pointing at me because I love myself".

Megan was apprehensive about donning the unique beauty trend but then came around to it. In an interview with WWD ahead of the show, she said, "I was scratching my head like, 'What do that mean? Put the nail on backwards?' And I didn't see the vision at first. But when I got the nails on my fingers, I said, 'Yes!'."

Once the singer had her inverted manicure on, there was no turning back. She added, "It's giving 2025 but in 3035. That's what the girls are going to be doing, so you're seeing it here first."

It's no wonder that the inverted nail art manicure has been picking up steadily on beauty TikTok. Now with Megan waving them proudly, we can only see the trend picking up more steam.
