British history is in the making. King Charles III held his very first state banquet at Buckingham Palace which saw the newly-appointed British royalty in attendance. It was tough however to focus our attention on anyone except Kate Middleton. Now titled the Princess Of Wales, Catherine Elizabeth Middleton made her very first appearance with her new designation in a black-tie ensemble at the function held at Buckingham Palace.

Kate Middleton picked one of her favourite designers Jenny Packham for the momentous occasion. The pristine white column gown fit her statuesquely and brought about a bit of glimmer on top. The gown featured a round neckline and power shoulders with flowing cape sleeves that extended until the floor. Across the shoulders was sparkling studded embellishment that lent glimmer to the ensemble. Kate carried a white clutch and for jewellery, wore a three-strand bracelet from Queen Elizabeth's collection, rings and pearl drop earrings which belonged to Princess Diana.

Kate revisited the tiara for the first time since 2019 and wore an extremely special diadem for the occasion. She wore Queen Mary's Lover's Knot tiara, which was also a favourite of her late mother-in-law. It featured 38 teardrop-shaped pearls under diamond-studded arches and the tiara gorgeously complemented her sleek updo hairstyle. The blue sash worn across her ensemble signified Kate's role as a member of the Royal Victorian Order while the yellow ribbon pinned on her designer gown signified her position in the Royal Family Order. Dressing that is truly, fit for royalty.
