Coachella weekend one has come to an end but already history has been made on the fairgrounds in Indio, California. The 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Actor is currently taking place until April 23, 2023 and so far, the likes of Rosalia, BlackPink and Willow Smith have set the stage on fire with their performances. Even before weekend two takes place, Diljit Dosanjh has already gone ahead and made a name for himself on the world stage. Coachella may be taking place at Indio but it's also where India has made a name for itself in the music world and it's all thanks to Diljit. While he is best known for his acting roles, turns out that he's an expert musical artist too. Diljit performed at Coachella 2023 as the very first Punjabi to take the stage at the acclaimed music festival.

And while that's record-breaking news in itself, being the fashion forward star he is, of course he took to the stage in style. But not without paying homage to his Punjabi roots. Diljit wore a black short sleeve kurta paired with a tamba, which is a traditional Punjabi bottom wear drape. On his head was a black turban with a pleated fan accent, which was styled by his turban stylist Gurpartap Singh Kang. Over his outfit was a black sleeveless vest and with it, white and black Nike Air Jordans. For accessories, Diljit wore yellow gloves with a silver bangle and hoop earrings too. Deep-rooted fashion choices will never go out of style.
