Karwa Chauth 2022 has arrived in the middle of the festive season and as per usual, Bollywood was ready to celebrate it with pomp and splendor. While actresses and celebrities turned out in embellished suits and ethnic sets in various shades of the rainbow, Shilpa Shetty stood apart from them, as she always does. The Bollywood entrepreneur has been one of the most traditional celebrities around, as far as dress codes go at least. So while the others chose shades of gold, pink, green and more, Shilpa didn't deviate from the classic shade of red. Being a festival of prosperity and long lives for their husbands, married women are encouraged to don red ethnic ensembles to emulate their bridal looks as well as because the shade is considered auspicious for the occasion.

Through the years, Shilpa has always been one Bollywood celebrity who has worn red ethnic looks with fervor and this one was no different. Attending a celebrity party thrown by Sunita Kapoor, Shilpa wore a glorious red saree by designer Gopi Vaid. The red sheer creation draped across her shoulder and included gold embroidery work over the narrow borders with silver piping. The base of the saree featured silver tiered details over its length. Shilpa matched it with a sleeveless red blouse also featuring the same embroidery pattern.
