Apart from keeping the fans on the edge of their seats, Greta Gerwig's Barbie has sparked a fashion celebration. Be it polka dot, cottagecore or generous bling, all things strictly bubblegum pink. However, Margot Robbie, strutting on the pink carpet at Barbie's World premiere in a sparkling black dress, may have defied the rule of the Barbiecore trend for its event. But it turns out, she wasn't alone. Barbie star Nicola Coughlan was nothing less than a “diamond Barbie” when she attended the event. Nicola Coughlan wore a Bridgerton-style body-fitted dress Wiederhoeft. The custom-made outing featured hand embroidery and was accentuated through the Swarovski crystals. The silver dress with crystals was an inspiration from Sparkle Eyes Barbie. The outfit featured a plunging Sabrina neckline that flew down to a straight ankle-length hem, of a sustainable satin fabric. To match her character—the Diplomat Barbie's red locks — Nicola dyed her hair and left them open. She teamed her stunning dress with metallic silver pumps and layered danglers. She paired glittery smokey eyes with razor-sharp liner and add-on lashes. Coral glossy lips added a flush of colour to the matte base.

This was the first time that Nicola diverted her route from the Barbiecore trend for any Barbie event. Earlier, the actress was seen wearing body-fitted bubblegum pink midi. The full-sleeved midi came with a plunging neckline and a matching waist belt. She rounded off her cute look with shoulder-length bob hair and a contrasting ring. Her rosy glam was complemented by her add-on lashes and a touch of shimmer on the corner of the eyes.
Leave it to Coughlan and she can bring all the sass in one frame. Earlier, the actress was seen slipping into a bubblegum pink strapless dress. Making it a strictly pink look, the actress topped the outfit with a chequered jacket in baby pink and white colour. Wearing it atop her dress, she carried it in a button-down style. Her statement heart earrings and a big ring added all the gleam to her look. What was left of the sheen was added by her pink glossy lips. Double cat eye monochrome black sunglasses brought in the sassiness that we talked about. She left her silky straight tresses open.
Talking about the movie, Barbie will hit the theatres on July 21. Apart from Nicola Coughlan, Greta Gerwig's directorial stars Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and Kingsley Ben-Adir in titular characters.
