Triptii Dimri is quite a travel junkie, which one sees from the fact that she drops everything to roam the world any time she can squeeze out a few days from her schedule. For New Year's Eve, the Bad Newz actress chose to take a Euro trip to witness the Northern lights under the Swedish skies.

Triptii Dimri has been having quite an adventurous end-of-the-year getaway, making her way through England, Prague, Vienna, Finland and finally, Sweden to see the spectacle of Northern lights with her own eyes as she brought in the New Year 2025. The actress shared magical pictures on her Instagram Stories of her gallery that was filled with the breath-taking view of the skies. In addition to this, she also shared a picture of herself posing in all-black snow gear as she marvelled at the skies above and the green-lit horizon along with the caption, "Drove from Finland, 3h into Sweden to get clear skies" along with a smiling emoji.

The Northern lights that are also known as the aurora borealis are a natural light display that appear in the night sky in the form of curtains, rays, spirals or flickers. The perfect time to witness the Northern lights in Sweden is between the months of September and March. But they can sometimes be visible as early as August. In addition to this, the long December and January nights can provide a pristine white and snow-covered backdrop for the lights, although there's no guarantee one will see it.
Sweden is a great place to see the Northern lights owing to its Northern location, its dark winter nights and "clear skies". A few of the best locations to see the northern lights in Sweden just like Triptii Dimri are:
Abisko National Park:
The Abisko National Park is located in the Swedish Lapland and is known for its clear skies and unique microclimate. The Aurora Sky Station in the park offers a panoramic view of the lights.
Kiruna:
Kiruna is Sweden's northernmost city which lies 145 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. During the winter months, it has zero hours of sunlight per day.
Lulea:
Lulea is located on the Gulf of Bothnia and the Lulea archipelago is accessible from the month of October to March when the northern lights are most visible.
Jukkasjarvi:
Jukkasjarvi is home to the world's first ice hotel and is one of the best area to view the Northern lights.
