Sarees can never go out of trend and proving it again was Sania Mirza, who was last seen at badminton star PV Sindhu's wedding reception in Hyderabad. She wore a wine-toned saree and needless to say, she is a pro off the tennis court even where her fashion is concerned.
The tennis ace wore a charming number from the shelves of the designer label Geethika Kanumilli. The intricate embroidery immediately caught our eye. Sequins and gold threadwork were weaved in with perfection to create stunning flower and leaf impressions. Interspersed with more pink floral motifs, the saree was a work of art. Sania teamed up the gorgeous fit with an equally ornate blouse. For accessories, the tennis star resorted to ruby and diamond-encrusted studs and bangles on both hands. For makeup, she went with a matte base, coupled with rosy cheeks and maroon lipstick. An intense stroke of eyeliner and mascara-adorned lashes offered the perfect eye drama and sealed her look with a neatly secured bun.

Before that, Sania Mirza followed the “pink code” as she leaned on a Mrunalini Rao-tailoured kurta set. The not-so-fitted outfit came with billowy sleeves and pleated details. Exquisite golden embroidery dominated the kurta through and through, delivering the right amount of contrast. Sania slipped into a pair of matching Patiala pants rounding off her graceful avatar. She draped a dupatta stylishly over her arms.
On another page of her ethnic diaries, Sania Mirza embodied a true-blue queen in an icy-blue saree by Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna. The dreamy ensemble featured a nylon tulle base decorated with linear metallic bead embellishments. Silver sequins sparkled like diamonds adding to the shine. Sania teamed up her OOTD with a matching halter-neck blouse in a satin base.
Sania Mirza's wardrobe collections are meant for the books.
