Spring style is a cut above the rest. While bold shades and striking prints are a safe bet through most seasons, this one calls for a lighter hand. You know; a sprinkle of flouncy fits, a touch of pastels, a drop of subtle patterns. Blake Lively needs no explanation to pull off spring fashion; especially when it's on a Hollywood red carpet. Celebrating husband Ryan Reynold's successful new movie The Adam Project, she looked ready for the momentous occasion in a seasonally-appropriate way. While Ryan looked suave in a grey pinstriped suit, it was hard to pry our eyes away from Blake. The Hollywood star picked a stunning Versace number to turn heads that evening and it's safe to say she succeeded.

Featuring flouncy panels in tones of blush pink, lilac, blue and white, the dress draped her body and led to a voluminous hemline. Its cape-like sleeves led to a plunging neckline and cutout details over the torso in front. Topping it off was a high slit that reached her thigh. Accessories included large earrings and an arm stack.
For the beauty to go with it, she wore her blonde tresses in a high ponytail pinned at the back. Her makeup look was fresh and defined in subtle pastel tones to match. With the amalgamation of risqué design and sorbet tones in a rainbow of colour, this was one red carpet in spring that Blake certainly made her own.
