1. Take A Break At Marriot Executive Apartments In Powai

Marriot Executive Apartments In Powai, Mumbai

Step into your Marriot Executive Apartments and in an instant you'll realise that you aren't in any ordinary hotel anymore. Placed on the same property as the Westin in Powai, Marriot Executive Apartments will make you feel more at home than any other staycation would. Nestled within the greenery of Powai and overlooking its vast lake, the room view might make you feel like you're at a hill station for a second there. Each apartment comes complete with a fully functional kitchen, a shared laundromat and dishwasher to live independently in a way you cannot do in a hotel. But if it's the hotel perks you'd like, the pool, buffet breakfast and recreation room are at your service. Rather than being a guest, you'll feel like a resident when you head here for a staycation.

2. Indulge In Authentic Japanese Cuisine At Wakai In Bandra

Consider your palette a wee bit spoiled when you dine in Asia but come back to Mumbai searching for authentic cuisine that's at least similar to what you ate abroad. Wakai came pretty darn close. Launched in May 2023 and located in Bandra, you can book your table downstairs that's pulsating with tunes or upstairs, in a quieter nook to talk. The Japanese fare reigns supreme over every other aspect. While sushi was sumptuous and gyozas were mouth-watering, the salmon carpaccio is a buttery smooth and divine standout. The seafood is fresh and it reflects in the tastes. With generously large cocktails, a sake menu and delicious desserts, Wakai is worth dropping in over the weekend to.

Expect an out-of-this-world experience when you step in at TresInd In BKC. With private cabana-like seating and a starlit ceiling, it's like walking into another world. Its 14 course degustation menu is a spectacle for the tastebuds, no less. The Khichadi of India was a standout that contained ingredients like cashew and green apple from various parts of the country, which were cooked at the table.
