From Kate To Chrissy, This Swimsuit Issue Is Why The Mercury Is Rising

The 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is finally here. Marking the magazine's 60th anniversary, Kate Upton, Chrissy Teigen, Hunter McGrady, and Gayle King posed for four separate swimsuit covers. We're beginning with American model and actress Kate Upton, whose latest photoshoot marks her seventh year with the brand. Kate looked ravishing in a dual-tone swim set. The actress slipped into a cherry red two-piece, featuring light pink stripes. Its plunging neckline was held together with adjustable straps. The risque bikini top highlighted subtle ruffled detailing around its plunging V-neckline. With a strap closure on the back, the biking top was paired with similar striped bottoms, featuring matching ruffles on its waistline.

John Legend's wife, model Chrissy Teigen radiated like a summer sun in a bright orange monokini. With halter-style straps, the stunning one-piece featured a plunging neckline till her midriff. The bodice, apart from a massive V-cutout at the centre, was attached to slip-on straps that could be worn like a jacket. The bodice was attached to a high waist bottom. Chrissy wore the look with a Lariat-style slinky neckpiece and a pair of gold hoops. She left her side-parted short bob hairstyle open.

Ageing like a fine wine, multi-hyphenate Gayle King could definitely give Gen Zs a run for their money with this cover photo shoot. She looked nothing less than a diva in this printed monokini. In green, black, beige and cream hues, the monokini came with a sweetheart neckline that was held together by narrow straps. Gayle styled her look with a matching printed oversized long shrug, which she carried in a drop-down look. Just a slinky neckpiece and a few rings were enough to round off her look. She left her curls loosened.

American plus-size model Hunter Mc Grady left us all speechless with her cutout pick. She slipped into a pewter-hued monokini with barely-there straps forming a halter neckline. Its risque bustier flew down to form cutout detailing on her midriff region. Hunter styled the look with a see-through sleeveless flowy shrug.
