The festive season in Bollywood is celebrated with fervor, gladness and of course, a hefty dose of ethnic fashion. As the festivals of Dussehra and Durga Puja coincide, Bollywood's traditional style also comes out in double measure. While some of them have been decking up throughout Navratri, other have posed in their finery for Durgotsava celebrations. Throughout it, the classic combination of red and gold has turned to be a Bollywood festive fashion mainstay. Take a look at this colour trend that has emerged in Bollywood during Dussehra and Durga Puja celebrations.

Katrina Kaif wished her followers on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. She chose a traditional shade of red in a contemporary floral embroidered Tarun Tahiliani saree. The V-neck blouse had sheer tulle bell sleeves, more floral detailing across its drape with narrow beaded borders.
Rhea Chakraborty took traditional style to a whole new level when she celebrated Bijoya Dashami in a treasured family heirloom. The actress looked elegant in her grandmother's 100-year-old saree, which featured a red and gold embroidered sleeveless blouse with a crisp red, white and gold drape. With gold jhumkas bringing it together, we couldn't help but marvel at her.
Tara Sutaria revealed posters of her upcoming film Apurva while looking resplendent in red and gold. The actress chose a red silk saree which had gold woven detailing and broad gold borders. She gave it an edge with a strapless red blouse while chunky gold jewellery added the traditional touch.
Sayani Gupta celebrated Ashtami with her pals in a red, white and gold number. Her gold-dotted red blouse paired with a traditional red and white saree, giving her a delightfully chic ethnic look.
To celebrate Navratri, Kajol posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a fiery red saree which was paired with a gold and black long sleeve printed blouse. Looks like the shades can be given a contemporary touch too, don't you think?
Shilpa Shetty too embraced the grace of red and gold in a floral embroidered ethnic suit. The Punit Balana set included a floral embroidered crop top and ruched skirt with a cape layered over, all of which had minute border detailing in gold.
