For the wedding ceremony, the Vicky Donor actress chose a crimson coloured saree. The shade of red that is synonymous with bridal outfits in several Indian communities was elevated further by gold motifs that ran along the length of the saree. She matched the saree with a blouse that featured large geometric-floral designs as well as a dupatta that had rich gold-toned work. She further enhanced the ethnic bridal look by pairing the saree with traditional gold jewellery and featured elements of red in the jewellery to tie the whole look together. She also wore a pahadi nath as an ode to her Himachal Pradesh roots. She kept her makeup fairly simple and a dash of red to the lips made sure that she looked her stunning best.
For the actress' chooda ceremony, she was seen in a similar shade of red. This time, however, the saree featured silver detailing. While the designs were limited to just the orders of the saree, the monochrome look of the ensemble was taken up a notch by the heavy design on the blouse. For this ceremony, she chose to keep her face bare with no makeup at all. But with Yami's stunning smile and bridal glow, we are glad she gave the heavy makeup a miss.
For her haldi ceremony, the actress went with traditional colours of yellow and red. She paired a yellow kurta with a red dupatta, adding a modern twist with some lovely shell jewellery.
We also love what Yami wore for her mehendi ceremony. The actress opted for a tangerine salwar kameez set with gold and silver work on it. She opted for simple gold earrings and a nose ring. For makeup, she kept it simple with just red lipstick. The actress' husband was seen staring at her in awe, in one of the pictures from the ceremony. Same Aditya, same.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
