The TikTok creator Hayley Bui started the “doe eyes vs. siren eyes” trend in July, this year, earning over 17 million views. This most flattering and sultry trend soon became all the rage on social media. The Siren eyes look has been on our radar and has made its way into our hearts too. This makeup process gives your eyes a significantly lifted and sharpened look and added that ultra-femme chic to your overall look. True to its name, the makeup technique calls all the attention to your eyes and is a hot take on the regular smokey eye look.
2. Rhinestone Makeup
Another hit in 2022 was the rhinestone (rainbow-tinted and more) makeup trend, which we saw on the runway and on many celebrities, including Gigi Hadid. This also makes the makeup comparatively lightweight and more hassle-free.

Yet another makeup trend that 2022 witnessed was the bold or statement blush. We have seen a tremendous rise in this trend. Whether it was the W blush or the sunburnt blush, bold blush looks was all over social media in 2022.
5. Clean Girl Aesthetic
The clean girl aesthetic look was a trend that was adopted surprisingly quickly by influencers and celebs alike. This trend requires you to practice minimalism with makeup, using just the most basic essentials so you can look your natural best in as little time as possible.
6. Skin Fasting
While this skincare trend proved that no skincare routine is a one-size fix for all, after a bit of experimentation, this was a process that our skins eventually thanked us for. Skin Fasting is all about excluding your skincare essentials one by one. It helps with detoxing the skin and makes it clearer. Rejuvenate, relax, and detox are the three words that define this skincare trend.
