Coldplay fans, the wait is finally over. The world-renowned band is all set to perform their concert in India after 8 years with their first leg in Mumbai.
The band's Music of the Spheres World Tour is expected to bring thousands of fans from across the country. The band is all set to perform in the D.Y. Guide To Attend The Coldplay Concert In Mumbai
1. How To Reach The Venue
Coldplay's concert will be held at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. To make it easier for people to travel, the organisers have arranged for Full Tariff Rate (FTR) suburban local trains to transport attendees to and from the venue.
As per BookMyShow's Instagram post, “The suburban locals booked as FTR will be operated between Goregaon and Nerul station in Navi Mumbai on all three days of the Coldplay concert. The suburban trains will depart from Goregaon at 2:00 pm on January 18 and 19, 2025, and reach Nerul at 3:23 pm via Wadala Road station. They will depart from Nerul at 11:04 pm and reach Goregaon a little after midnight at 12:30 am.”
The price for a two-way ticket is Rs 500 and can be purchased through BookMyShow's official website.
2. Travel By Car And Parking Arrangements
For those who are travelling by car and other public transport like buses are suggested to plan their travel in advance. To avoid traffic, leave your house earlier than usual to reach the destination ahead of time.
Temporary parking facilities have been arranged at several locations. One can park at the Raheja Plot near Panchshil Compound, in Nerul or at the parking plaza in CBD Belapur. These parking slots have been set up to make your trip as smooth as possible.
3. Entry Guidelines
Make sure to carry a government ID proof and a soft copy of the primary transactor's ID proof. Wristbands will act as tickets; ensure to keep them safe, as replacements will not be provided. Once your ticket is scanned, re-entry is not permitted, and wristbands should not be tampered with or damaged.
4. Venue Rules
As per the venue rules, children under 5 years are not allowed, and those below 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Photography from only phone cameras is allowed, and no professional video equipment is allowed. Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the venue. Lastly, if you're carrying signs and boards, they should not be larger than 28” x 22”.
5. Cleanliness and Sustainability
To avoid any damage to the stadium, the NMMC chief, Kailas Shinde, ensured a zero-waste concert was hosted. As per the Indian Express, he stated, “We cannot control the size of the crowd coming in, but my vision is to make it a zero-waste and sustainable event.” Temporary and additional toilet facilities have been set up around the venue, and a special cleaning task force will maintain cleanliness during and after the event.
