Recently, she turned showstopper for KVIC India representing Shruti Sancheti at Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI). The actress looked stunning in a detailed indigo khadi silk trench, featuring Mukaish embroidery embellished with intricate hand screen and block prints. The full-sleeve number was layered on a modern co-ord set, which consisted of a matching bustier and woven checks panelled skirt, with a waist-high slit. To add a sense of comfort to her runway style, Rakul wore a pair of beige shoes. Her messy tresses were styled in a pony where a few strands were left open, giving a perfect structure to her face. Rakul finished off with a muted glam with nude tones.
