Whoever said saree is the epitome of feminine grace wasn't wrong. And Genelia D'Souza made a striking statement as she shared snippets from a recent fashion photoshoot, where she has gone traditional and is seen wearing her love for the six yards. The actress made her Instafam sit up and take notice as she paired the organza saree with a matching red blouse, completing the look with big, bold jhumkas and green bangles paired with a chunky kundan bracelet. Genelia upped the desi look with a small red bindi and white flowers adorning her hair bun. Ready to take notes? Take a look at her pictures.

Doesn't she look wonderful?
We scoured through a few of Genelia's old posts and found some photos of hers in traditional looks. We must say, she looks stunning and we cannot help admire her each time. For Gudi Padwa, Genelia and husband Riteish Deshmukh wished their fans with an adorable post. The couple can be seen lip-syncing to the song, Kya Khoob Lagti Ho. Genelia has worn a grey silk saree with multicolour prints, and left her tresses open in one side. To accentuate the traditional look, she's sported a bindi. We must say that we want to sing the same song to admire her looks as well.
On another occasion, Genelia posed in a neutral cream white saree and made us swoon. For accessories, she just wore a diamond bracelet. Genelia captioned the gorgeous picture, “I am in charge of how I feel today, and I'm choosing happiness.” Happy indeed she did look!
The actress' love for neutral sarees is eternal. Once, for a film festival, Genelia chose a neutral saree and paired it with a heavy embellished blouse. She added cute hair clips to complete the look. A chic style statement, indeed!
Time and again, Genelia keeps proving that be it an ethnic occasion or a party or the red carpet, the saree is the way to go.
