GQ 100 Best Dressed: 10 On 10 To Deepika Padukone For Sheer Fashion Chutzpah

After a rather fashion heavy month, Deepika Padukone is finally back in Mumbai. But don't have that fool you even for a minute into believing that Deepika is taking a break from fashion. No sir. You might think that someone who had to walk down as many red carpets in the last month, as Deepika, might be tired of playing dress up; but not Deepika Padukone. Deepika attended the GQ 100 Best Dressed event in Mumbai on Saturday, and our vote of confidence goes to the fact that she did not disappoint. The rumour is rife that Deepika Padukone is thinking of starring in the first female superhero film in Hindi cinema. In the midst of all that excitement, Deepika channeled her inner Lara Croft by wearing an all black outfit from YSL - leather shorts and a black see through top. It even had a cape! But what was really reminiscent of Lara croft from the 2001 film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, was the way Deepika did her hair; in a pulled back high braid.

Deepika teamed her outfit with a pair of black Christian Louboutin stilettos and wore a pair of sheer black mesh tights under her shorts. We have to say, even after her big and bold outfits at Cannes this year, we really are loving this edgy look that Deepika chose for the GQ 100 Best Dressed.

Deepika Padukone has been a very busy woman off late. The dimpled beauty might not be involved in a film post Padmavat, but she has most certainly not let the attention of her fans waver away from her. After a rollicking box office and personal success in January with Padmavat, Deepika seems to have taken a small hiatus from films and concentrated on the next best thing - fashion. That's right. Deepika Padukone has been busy travelling the world for the last month for events of high importance, both in the world of fashion and film. From the TIME 100 Gala to the Met Gala to The Cannes Film Festival; Deepika attended them all, and in all her sartorial glory.

Well, we're just happy to see Deepika's rather fashionable streak continue even after all of this. And we really can't wait to see if the rumours about her superhero film really are true. Fingers crossed.
