GQ 100 Best Dressed: These 5 Men Sure Knew How To Stand Out In The Crowd
Black and white, and yet stepping outside the line

Last Saturday, some of the most stylish people from the entertainment industry came together to have a gala evening. As we were making plans for our version of a happening weekend, GQ (Gentlemen's Quarterly for the uninitiated) hosted its '100 Best Dressed' event in Mumbai. Needless to say, the stars and celebrities who showed up at the event were at their dapper and chic best. The GQ Best Dressed list contains unsurprising names such as Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Virat Kohli, and some newcomers such as designer Kunal Rawal.

When it comes to men, a lot of them stuck to being basic when they had the opportunity to go big and bold. We certainly believe that at events like these, men can really push the boundaries for men's fashion in India. And as far as that is concerned, we sure did miss Ranveer Singh. But even with many basic sartorial choices, there were some men who stood out of the crowd. Here's to them.

Sidharth Malhotra

We weren't sure what we thought of Sidharth's all-white ensemble by designer Gaurav Gupta, but it sure made the guy stand out and how. And if the all-white wasn't bold enough for you, check out the frayed ends of blazer. Win-win.

Jim Sarbh

Anyone keeping an eye out would know that this man hardly stays within the lines, in terms of what he stars in and even when it comes to what he wears. For the event, he donned a Gucci suit that gave us them retro vibes. And he paired the suit with a floral tie which was totally hitting the summer notes.

Saqib Saleem

While his business is his business, his Karrtik D suit is totally becoming our business because it is totally giving us dapper-man goals. Pinstriped and yet bold stripes? Hell yes!

AD Singh

Restaurateur AD Singh was a classic example of how to mix bold prints with white. An asymmetric kurta with pleats down front paired with a pink printed jacket totally made the look work for him.

And then there was...

Bhavesh Joshi ( read Harshvardhan Kapoor)

...in his Bhavesh Joshi mask and those oversized trousers and white sneakers.

Here's to incorporating some of these styles in our own wardrobe dear men, and pushing the boundaries a little.
