At the bottom of the picture is the important lesson she shared with her beauty-obsessed followers: "Be kind to your barrier."

The barrier in question Mrs. Baldwin Bieber is referring to is the skin barrier, which is its outermost layer. A strong and healthy skin barrier gives the appearance of hydrated, glowing, firm skin. However, environmental reasons, low sun protection and overuse of harsh skincare products can damage the barrier, leaving it inflamed and unhappy.
