The actress made the statement in a heartfelt note that she penned on the occasion of her father, Suniel Shetty's birthday. Along with the post, she also shared two pictures that cemented the position of the actors as one of the most stylish father-daughter duos of Bollywood, through the ages. The first image features Athiya in a denim jacket and T-shirt, with oversized hoops. While the monochrome image did not give away much about her makeup choices, it is evident that she kept it simple and dewy, and left her hair partly open. Suniel Shetty, meanwhile, looked dapper as ever as he wore a white shirt.
In the throwback image, Athiya is seen as a toddler in a baby T-shirt. But the diva is stylish as ever, as she poses in a pair of goggles as her father holds her. The actor, meanwhile, is seen in a fitted T-shirt and pants.
On Instagram Stories, Athiya also shared another throwback photo of her dad and her, along with brother Ahan Shetty. In the image, Suniel Shetty is the embodiment of the unfiltered 90s look. In the image, he is seen in a black V-neck T-shirt with full sleeves. He coupled this with a pair of animal-print pants and a denim cap. For accessories, he went with a silver, chunky necklace. Athiya, meanwhile, is seen in a blue, sleeveless T-shirt with printed shorts and a pair of black shoes.
