The colour depends on the leaf used however, most of them offer an auburn colour. It also comes with antimicrobial properties that gives a cooling sensation.
Here's How To Apply Henna For Gray Hair
Step 1: Take Black Tea Leaves And Boil Them
For this easy process, take some black tea leaves and put them in a pan with water. Allow them to boil for a bit till they start bubbling. Then let it simmer on low heat until the water reduces to half.
Step 2: Make A Henna Mask
Often henna is used as a natural way to dye your tresses. To prepare a mask, you need henna powder so make sure to go for a natural henna powder. Soak the henna in water overnight and then add black tea, and lemon juice to the henna paste. Mix all the ingredients well.

Step 3: Apply The Mask
Once you are done mixing the ingredients, then use a brush to apply the henna paste. You can also apply petroleum gel along the hairline and ears to prevent staining. Apply the paste on the tresses section by section and once you apply it to all the sections of the hair, wait for at least 30 minutes for it to dry and then wash it off.
