If you grew up in the late 90s watching Full House, we're pretty sure John Stamos featured on your list of celebrity crushes. I mean, one look at him is enough to tell you why. Playing the role of fun uncle Jesse, John starred in the show while looking swell with a shaggy mullet hair and cropped tanks. John has come a long way since then and, as of some hours ago, is off the market. Cue the sound of a million hearts breaking across the world.
On February 3, John married model and actress Caitlin McHugh, who has acted in TV hit The Vampire Diaries. The couple got hitched at Little Brown Church in California which was followed by an intimate reception at John's Beverly Hills pad. John wore a dapper navy blue suit with a matching bow tie and a white floral corsage. His new bride Caitlin wore a strapless tulle ball gown with a simple bouquet of white flowers and beach waves in her hair. After the ceremony, the newly minted man and wife drove off in a vintage Rolls Royce, as reported by US Magazine.
Just a day before the wedding, Caitlin's jewellery worth a reported $165,000 from her hotel room but thankfully, the couple seemed to have smoothened things out as they walked down the aisle peacefully, as reported by People Magazine.
After dating for almost two years, last October, John proposed to Caitlin at none other than Disneyland, a fitting location since the two are known to be Disney fans. The mushy proposal included a Disney-themed montage and Neil Lane ring. In December 2017, the couple announced that their house was about to get a little fuller as they were expecting a bundle of joy to be born in spring 2018.
At 54, the actor has quite a body of work to his name. Post Full House, John has gone on to appear in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Entourage, Glee and currently Fuller House. Both John and Caitlin were previously married. While John was married to actor Rebecca Romijn for eight years in the early 2000s, Caitlin was hitched to restaurateur Massimo Lusardi in 2001, whom she separated from within a few months.
With a story that includes a Disneyland proposal, a handsome actor, a charming beauty and a soon-to-arrive stork, it's hard to call this story anything but a fairytale.
