How to Ace The Nose Ring Like These Bollywood Celebs

Everytime you watch a Bollywood period drama on the big screen, do you find your attention drifting away from the storyline to focusing on the stunning jewellery that the women are seen wearing? If the answer is yes, then you are definitely not alone. From Jodhaa Akbar to "Padmaavat", each of those movies have given us major reasons to spruce up our jewellery collection and include statement making pieces. And if there's one such jewellery that everyone has been wanting to don, it is none other than nose rings.

Nose rings are not everyone's cup of tea because it does take a little adjusting. While it isn't compulsory to get your nose pierced to be able to wear nose rings, you still need to be comfortable enough to have it clipped to your nose without being bothersome. The good news is that there are different kinds of nose rings that you can pick and choose to suit your fancy. You can always start with studs before moving onto enlarged rings with embellishments.

Let's first have a look at some of our Bollywood beauties and how they have nailed nose rings in their respective films, starting with Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati in "Padmaavat". While in the starting of the movie we see her wearing no fuss nose rings as a Sinhalese princess, she later puts on heavy Rajput-style nose rings with stone and bead embellishments to match the stature of a queen.

In Jodhaa Akbar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had sported enlarged nose rings, which usually come with a string that can be clipped to the hair on the side.

You will commonly spot these enlarged nose rings in designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's jewellery collections, which are embellished with pearls.

Fashion designer Neeta Lulla, who has been designing Kangana Ranaut's look in Manikarnika, had posted a picture of her and Kangana on the sets of the movie, revealing one of her looks. Kangana's stunning nose ring had stood out for its simplicity. We loved the little, stone studded floral detail and thought it was something that could be easily carried off at wedding functions.
