1. Highlight inside

For a dramatic twist to your everyday eyes, put on a touch of highlighter. Use a narrow applicator brush to apply a bit of highlighter over the inner corner of your eye just over the tear duct and under your eyebrow. Even if you're running out of time, this quick tip will brighten your eyes immensely.

2. Add a touch of colour

You know what every regular eye liner needs? A funky touch of colour. Make it happen with a vibrant mascara in shades of electric blue, yellow or violet. Stroke the wand over your upper and lower lashes and watch the magic happen. Coloured mascara will add a funky element to your look in an instant.

3. Smudge it up

Now here's a makeup trick that will both, upgrade your black liner and fix it if it gets wobbly. Over the lined area, apply a few strokes of black kajal and use a narrow brush to blend it out towards the outer corner in a wing.
