How To Be Chic And Comfortable On A Flight

It is possible to feel comfortable and not look like youre still half asleep on your next flight!

How To Be Chic And Comfortable On A Flight

The only time people look good coming out of a plane is a. if they are celebrities or b. if it's in a movie. Truth is, flights can be exhausting and putting your best foot forward is the last thing on your mind. But wouldn't it be nice to step into the airport looking groomed and still feeling comfortable in what you're wearing? Don't say that's impossible because we know how to make it happen!

The basics

It's nice to look groomed when exiting the plane; the keyword here being groomed, not overdressed. So when picking what you'll wear, choose comfort over style. Pick a pair of comfy leggings or tracks and pair it with a cotton t-shirt or button down shirt. Even a well-fitted dress can do the trick. Steer clear of any uncomfortable clothing in general.

The outerwear

Flights can get chilly so carrying an additional layer of outerwear layer is always a good idea. Something like a denim jacket or cardigan will do just the trick.

The innerwear

When it comes down to sitting in one place for long hours at a stretch, comfortable bras and panties are so important. Pick something that's easy for you to wear for hours to come-hipsters or briefs and t-shirt or sports bras are good choices.

Footwear

There's a lot of walking involved at an airport so make sure your shoes fit well. Sneakers, sliders and sandals are the best choice in such situations. Pumps, wedges or heels of any kind are a complete no-no-the runway belongs to the plane, not you.

Accessories

The only accessory you really need if a pair of sunglasses. Ideally, keep yourself free from jewellery of any kind and keep your handbag as your carry-on bag. It'll help you get through the security check as painlessly as possible.

Makeup

A layer of moisturiser on your face, tinted balm on your lips and a touch of mascara is more than enough. If you're feeling experimental, carry a sheet mask for some in-flight pampering!
