Husband Of The Year Alexis Surprises Wife Serena Williams With 4 Billboards

A bouquet of lilies and box of nougat-filled chocolates to surprise the one you love are so passe. To really make it count, you've got to go big or go home. And we think a lot of partners are going to be going home, since they'll find it hard to match Alexis Ohanian's new gesture. The entrepreneur and Reddit co-founder husband of tennis legend Serena Williams gave his wife a lovely welcome back to the sport with heart-melting gesture.

Across a highway in Palm Springs, Alexis surprised Serena by splashing a lovely message across four billboards on a stretch. On the first was the word 'greatest' alongside an open-mouthed picture of their baby daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian. On the next, 'momma' along with a picture of Alexis Olympia with Serena. The third had the words 'of all time' with a smiling picture of little Alexis. The final billboard had the words 'Serena Williams' with her newly acquired title 'G.M.O.A.T' signed by Alexis Jr. and Sr. along with a picture of mother and daughter. Talk about grand gestures. Even though it's only February, Alexis Sr.'s four billboards have won him the title of husband of the year.

Father and daughter welcomed mom Serena Williams back to a new season of tennis. Williams is set to get back in action at the Indian Wells series in March. Although she participated in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship at the end of last year, she sat out January's Australian Open. Serena Williams not just participated, but also won, the previous 2017 edition of the Australian Open, all while pregnant.

In response to her husband's adorable gesture, Serena shared a video of the billboards and gushed about how fortunate she was to have them with her. If that doesn't melt your ice-box of a heart, nothing will.

It looks like father and daughter have set her up for success in the season ahead. Now we can't wait to see what Alexis Sr. pulls off for her birthday.
