I Made 10 Little Changes To Make My Days Happier. It Worked
Ten little things to better, happier days

There are little things we can do to make sure that our days don't go by without even a single thing to be happy about, or without feeling good about ourselves. Funnily enough, many of us tend to think that happy days are only accompanied by big or grand things. But if you come to think of it, it is anything but that. I mean sure, there are ways you can make your day happening by shopping, eating out, meeting friends, stuff like that, but we aren't talking about that. We are talking about simpler things.

Here are ten things I did, changed about my days and guess what? It has made me a happier person. Try it out.

- Dress well. If you wake up and put in a little more effort into what goes on your body, you will feel good about yourself all day long. Wear perfume.

- Smile at people, even strangers. Greet people with a happy hello - you aren't just making your day happy, but theirs' too.

- Compliment people. You have no idea what that one compliment can do to someone's day. Really. There's so much negativity in the world. Be positive.

- Appreciate the small things - the smell of fresh coffee at your desk, the sunrise, a hearty breakfast, the songs on your playlist. Add tiny joys to your day, maybe get some flowers for your desk.

- Actually listen to people when they talk; the attention you give to people becomes really important to them. And it makes you a better listener.

- Hug more, hug better. The endorphins released during the gesture are amazing for your mood.

- Go running for a while. Or maybe take a night walk by yourself, plugged to some good music.

- Say 'thank you' to people more often - to auto wallahs, shop owners, the person who held the door open for you. Say it.

- Appreciate things that you take for granted - your good health, friends, family, your job, the fact that you don't have a painful ulcer in your mouth.

- Love yourself a little. Be mindful of the good person that you are and compliment yourself for the good things you do, self-appreciation is underrated.
