Summer comes along with an array of beauty woes and handling curly tresses tops the list. While those gorgeous curly locks look stunning, the hassle of tackling them can't be put into words. Come summer and issues like dryness and frizziness make the process even more cumbersome. Sanya Malhotra understands the struggle of women with curly hair. Echoing a similar sentiment, Sanya recently shared a video on her Instagram Stories. The clip taken from a film features actor-turned-politician Mithun Chakraborty uttering a dialogue. “Mere lautne mei derr ho sakti hai. Pareshan maat hona. Kuch ghante bhi laag sakte hai, aur kuch saal bhi (There may be a delay in my return. Don't be worried. It may take a few hours or even a few years).” Interestingly, Sanya's hilarious take on curly tresses is too real and relatable. The soaring temperatures call for more conscious efforts.

Sanya Malhotra's curly tresses have always served hair goals
Here are five tips to maintain your envious curls from the scorching temperatures:
1. Pick The Right Towel
Say no to using terry coat towels that are harsh on your hair. It makes the hair dry and brittle. Instead, use softer and absorbent microfibre towels as they also save a lot of time. Wrap your curls until they are semi-dry and you are good to go.
2. Use Diffuser
Avoid air-drying your coily hair. It can cause more frizz and dryness and can even lead to shrinking of the length of your tresses. Instead, use a diffuser and dry your hair on medium heat. Start from the tip and divide your mane into multiple sections to derive the best results.
3. Hydrate
Hydration is the key element for both healthy skin and hair. Lock in hydration by washing your locks with a gentle and moisturising shampoo. Better if the ingredients have rice water. It will deliver shiny and bouncy curls.
4. Deep Condition
Make sure to provide nourishment to your hair and replenish moisture. A leave-in conditioner is also a good option if you have to step out in the heat.
5. Indulge In Nighttime Hair Care
Do not skip a night hair care routine. Cover your curls in a satin or silk scarf or use silk pillowcases to minimise friction resulting in crinkled hair. A small quantity of hair oil can be applied to wake up to soft coiled locks.
