Doesn't it feel like yesterday when Paris Hilton announced that she was adding “mom” to her long list of titles when her baby boy Phoenix arrived? It may feel so but little Phoenix has turned one. Subtle is not a word associated with Paris Hilton, especially when there is a celebration. The personality hosted a grand “Sliving Under the Sea”–themed birthday party on Saturday. It seemed like The Little Mermaid leapt out of our TV screens. Paris shared a series of pictures from Phoenix's first birthday bash. She painted her backyard in all shades of blue with massive balloons in oceanic hues, smaller fantastical fish balloons, mermaid statues, glittering tinsel, larger-than-life seashells, and a big white arch with “Phoenix” written across it in blue. Don't miss out on the Greek column behind the mother and son duo that will definitely transport you to Atlantis.

Phoenix's first birthday bash was nothing less than joyful for any child. We say this as Paris Hilton didn't go over-the-top with only the decor. She added real-life land animals into the mix with a petting zoo that included a beautiful white pony, baby goats, chickens, rabbits, fluffy sheep, and a few ducks. Please pay special attention to Phoenix's sea-themed blue cake that was adorned with countless sea shells, corals and a sea horse sitting on top of it. Sharing the pictures, Paris Hilton wrote, “Sliving under the sea with Baby P for his first birthday! A magical day for the most magical smiley boy. My life is forever changed thanks to you Phoenix! Thank you for making me the luckiest.”
We believe that this year Paris Hilton's holiday season décor stood out from the rest. It included all things pink with generous shimmer. From a pink Christmas tree loaded with candies, macrons and ice cream soft toys to a Hello Kitty cart for Phoenix, Paris Hilton had it all. Of course she also had a separate green Christmas tree, which she adorned with white ornaments.
Thank you, Paris Hilton, for inspiring us with more than just your style.
