The Indian Couture Week 2023 has been an eye-grabbing experience for fashion enthusiasts without a doubt. Adding to the list, Vaani Kapoor looked enthralling in an all-red embellished lehenga from the Rose Room. The lace lehenga had floral red patterns on the flared bottom as Vaani teamed it with a sleeveless bralette blouse with a deep, plunging neckline. The lace details on the sleeve line are difficult to miss too. The actress accompanied the look with a red dupatta and a heavy emerald and diamond necklace to break the monotone. Leaving her tresses in natural curls, Vaani's minimal glam makeup included well-defined eyes topped with shimmery eyelids, and a muted lip colour.
This was designer Isha J's debut show at the India Couture Week for the Rose Room. But with a vision to inspire many brides on the brigade with this collection, this didn't seem like a first. The collection by Rose Room was inspired by the vintage era and it can be seen from the use of their fabrics, colour palette, and work. FDCI posted the images of the collection and captioned it as, 'Roseroom by Isha J showcased their collection 'Romantic Reverie', at the Lotus Makeup Show on Day 7 of the Hyundai India Couture Week in association with Reliance Brands.
This collection draws inspiration from the captivating fusion of French Riviera romanticism and the allure of Hollywood's Golden Era. Each garment in this collection pays homage to the "glamorous vintage era, as intricate chikankari details, delicate laces, and dreamy organza fabrics intertwine with pearls and crystals, crafting a mesmerising tapestry of playful sophistication and exclusivity" that make this European-inspired collection so very Indian. Their use of a pastel colour palette with hooded veils, intricate embroidery, and vivid silhouettes made the collection stand out depicting a fusion between modern and fusion.
With European styles in essence but Indian in effect, this collection will be a hit for this bridal season.
