Sobhita Dhulipala is a true traveller and recently visited, she visited the famous Kapaleeshwarar Temple in Mylapore, Chennai. The actress posted a few pictures on Instagram, giving her fans a visual tour of the shrine. Sobhita posed against the background of the Lord Shiva temple. She was dressed in pink ethnic wear and carried a white dupatta. Sobhita also enjoyed curd rice as prasad. The centuries-old temple is a popular tourist hotspot due to its rich history and architectural brilliance. Stone and wood carvings, decorated pillars and towering domes also known as gopurams are worth admiring. The gopurams are adorned with many mythological figures. Besides several major festivals that are celebrated here, the Kapaleeshwarar Temple hosts five types of Pujas observed throughout the day.

Ramanaadheswarar Temple

This ancient Hindu temple is believed to date back to 700 AD. Constructed in the Chozha temple architectural style, the shrine has a rich history. It is said that Lord Rama found a Shiva linga here while searching for his wife Sita.
