By virtue of her existence, Zeenat Aman is known to break barriers. A veteran star no doubt, but one that is ever-evolving. Perhaps that was the reason why Zeenat Aman made her Instagram debut only very recently, and from the moment she joined, she has proved that she can rule any domain. Well, her throwback images on the 'gram are partially responsible for it. Zeenat Aman has given us many fashion moments that have rewritten the course of history. One such moment was shared in her latest Instagram post. Zeenat Amaan recalls the story behind one of her most iconic looks of all times, dressed in a slinky, decolletage-baring silver gown. Her silver gown was created by a Famous costume designer of the time, Mani Rabadi, based on one of Miss Aman's own designs. She recalls that the plunging neckline and silhouette turned many hands the night she wore it and going by her incredible picture, we have no ounce of doubt in our minds as to why it was so. In fact, she also mentioned that to give the gown that exquisite form-fitting silhouette, the designer sewed the gown on her while she was wearing it. She added a sleek necklace and a ring to the outfit and topped the look with soft smoky makeup, pigmented eyebrows and her swift, feather-like bouncy blowout hairdo.
She quotes "Shalimar didn't quite dazzle the audience" but we have to admit that her glamorous, silver gown more than made up for it. This famous post was meant to be a driving force for all Saturday Glam plans, but we guess we have it all sorted for every glam evening on our cards. Oh, the things we'd do to even achieve half a pound worth of sheer mould-breaking fashion capacity as Zeenat Aman does!
