Jane Dipika Garrett was born in United States and raised in Nepal by her American father and Nepalese mother. She is a nurse and a business developer who vehemently supports the causes of women's physical, mental and hormonal health due to experiencing depression because of polycystic ovarian syndrome.

She came to international prominence in November 2023 when she created history by becoming the first ever plus sized contestant to participate in the Miss Universe pageant where she represented Nepal and became a semi-finalist and was the first Miss Nepal to land up in the top twenty since the year 2018.

Jane Dipika Garrett defines her goals to inform people about hormone imbalances and educate them on the potential effects it has on their mental health. She attempts to alter perceptions of women's beauty standards and normalises size-inclusive beauty by stating that all bodies are beautiful.

Jane Dipika Garrett has moved to New York City in November 2024 to pursue a full time modelling career.
