Janhvi Kapoor Makes Ethnic Wear Trendy, Outfit By Outfit

Janhvi Kapoor has been busy with the promotions of her debut film Dhadak, alongside co-star Ishaan Khattar. While her fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing her first time on the big screen, Janhvi has already been working her charm and impressing all with her perfect dance moves to Zingaat, as well as her inherent sense of elegant style. Of course with cousins like Sonam-Rhea Kapoor, it won't be a surprise to find Janhvi Kapoor growing up to be a style icon. In fact, she is already quite the fashionista, who has been setting style goals for ethnic dressing.

Really, thanks to Janhvi Kapoor that ethnic summer style has been getting major love this season. From beating the heat in delicate cotton kurtas and palazzos to glamming up in intricately designed lehengas and shararas, Janhvi has been on point with her desi style statements. The actress recently turned up for a promotional event for Dhadak, looking pretty in pink by wearing designer Punit Balana's lehenga-choli. The cream lehenga had floral patterns in bright pink, and it was teamed with a pink halter choli with stitch detail and lace tie-ups at the back.

Keeping with pastel hues, Janhvi made a stunning style statement for another event, dressed in a lilac tunic and cape with goemetric print patterns by designer Ritika Mirchandani. Accessorising it right with chucky earrings and metallic heels, Janhvi looked summer perfect.

During last weekend, we spotted the 21-year old actress in Mumbai airport, looking charming as ever in an easy olive green kurta with sequin and intricate threadwork. She teamed it with a pair of palazzos and beaded jootis from Fizzy Goblet to keep it casual yet chic.

Keeping it simple in white and black, Janhvi wore a kurta with floral threadwork and teamed it with a black palazzo with shimmery detail at the hem. To spruce it up, she teamed it with statement earrings, a black Chanel sling bag and black jootis from Fizzy Goblet.

And how can we forget her picture perfect look in a gorgeous Anita Dongre lehenga-choli with delicate floral patterns? Her barely-there makeup look was radiant and paired to perfection with an accented braided hairstyle.

Since the film only releases on July 20, we are sure to see a lot more of Janhvi in glam desi outfits. Can't wait!
