More often than not, Janhvi Kapoor's fashion choices are far from casual. She's probably the friend you'd inform to keep it casual when heading out for a burger and fries and yet, she'd turn up in a pantsuit and stilettos. Not only does she always put her most stylish foot forward, she looks for a reason to. And Apoorva Mehta's 50th birthday party hosted by Karan Johar last night was as good as any. Janhvi was joined by many other shining film stars on the red carpet including Alia Bhatt, Tara Sutaria and Mrunal Thakur. Even Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif made one of their rare joint appearances. But to no one's surprise, this Kapoor girl sparkled the brightest. Perhaps she had her outfit to thank for it.

Janhvi wore an entirely mirrorwork column gown that fitted her like a glove. Along with featuring thin straps, it also had a sweetheart neckline. A pair of sparkling heels complemented her outfit well. As her gown did most of the talking, Janhvi took the understated route by way of accessories with a simple pair of earrings for a touch of glitz.

Her makeup look didn't disappoint though. Her long locks were worn centre-parted and partly swept to the front in big sleek curls. Janhvi's makeup look was glamourous but neutral with a pair of bronze eyes and nude lips on a base of radiant skin. When the dress code calls for glamour, Janhvi Kapoor comes out right on top.
