Jaypore, an online platform that for the last five years has been bringing craft based designs from across India to people, has now ventured offline. Jaypore launched its very first store in New Delhi on Wednesday, March 21. The website, known for its collection of artisanal products, opened its brick and mortar doors with a collection that was just as vibrant as its online counterpart, albeit a relatively smaller one.

The store is a reflection of Jaypore's online version, with an aesthetic and design that are traditional yet modern. One walks in to a bright array of garments, meticulously lined in order of colour. The melange of colours, silhouettes and styles are hard to just walk by without making a halt at least every few steps. From bright orange to a summery blue, there's something to please the colour palette of almost every shopper who walks in.

As you head upstairs, past the accessories section of the store, you can't help but notice the intricate Rattan Jali facade, reminiscent of the palaces of Jaipur, set against soothing white interiors.

The Jaypore store boasts a collection that is unique and vibrant, and the store itself is a place one could spend a good amount of time in, owing to it's clean and crisp display.
Shilpa Sharma, co-founder of Jaypore, gave us a little bit of insight about what prompted them to launch a physical store after their online venture. Speaking to us, she said, "The Jaypore store is an attempt to merge the online experience with an offline one. We'd like the audience to come into the store and get a touch and feel experience of the product as it is and the quality of curation that we have at Jaypore and an aesthetic - all that we stand for in the online space. It is an opportunity for the client to come, touch, feel and get a tactile experience of the product. She can come in and try on what works for her and that would perhaps prompt her to getting to more comfortable with the online experience as well."
Jaypore opened its first store in N Block Market, Greater Kailash 1, New Delhi.
