Janhvi Kapoor's Easy Braided Hairstyle Is Perfect For Busy Mornings

Janhvi Kapoor is the flavour of the season. Before Sridevi's elder daughter's debut film Dhadak could even be announced, she was scorching through the trend charts, one outfit at a time. Her appearance at IFFI 2017 in sunny Goa was no different. In a lehenga bustier hybrid and minimal makeup, Janhvi looked fabulous. But it was her easy braided hairdo (which is perfect for rushed mornings!) that stole the show - so here's how to try it.

Step 1 - Divide your hair into two large sections. One from the hairline to the crown and the second consisting of the lower layers.

Step 2 - Spritz the lower section with texturizing spray like the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray, scrunch the hair with your fingers and tie it tightly into numerous 2 inch sections with clips to give it those natural curls like Janhvi's.

Step 3 - Now onto the top section. On either side of the head, remove a 3 inch section near the ears and pin it aside.

Step 4 - Take the right hand side section, roll it in itself until the end, wrap it around the head until the back and tuck its end within the layers. Use bobby pins to hold it in place in the hair. Repeat the same for the 3 inch section on the left hand side.

Step 5 - Separate a 2 inch section near the front of your hair on the right hand side. Now using the basic 3 strand method, plait the hair into a small braid. Repeat the same on the left hand side.

Step 6 - Remove the clips from the lower layers of your hair to open up your natural looking curls.
