Diwali isn't confined to being celebrated within the nation anymore. Not only is it a part of neighbourly state traditions, continents in different corners of the world are now celebrating the festival of lights. Indians across the globe have spread the sparkle of Diwali far and wide, only adding to the year-end holiday line up. Of all the Hollywood celebrities to be celebrating Diwali's festive fervour this year, it was none other than Chrissy Teigen who caught our eye. The celebrity author, host and wife of John Legend attended Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' big Diwali bash with her husband in attendance. To match the glitter of the ambiance, she picked a Papa Don't Preach by Shubhika purple saree with embellishment over the trimming. Paired with it was a matching long sleeve blouse and bright pink bag. Chrissy completed the outfit with a maang tikka while John wore a black sherwani besides her.

But that wasn't all. Another Diwali look of Chrissy's included yet another Papa Don't Preach saree. This time it was a slinky coral and lilac toned number with a net embroidered drape and slit down the front. She wore a thin strap blouse with the saree and wrapped it up with a maang tikka and metallic heels.
It seems like Papa Don't Preach was a hot Diwali favourite in the Hollywood hills. Mindy Kaling chose a bright yellow suit with a matching dupatta and paired it with fun heels. A maang tikka and dangling earrings added the Diwali dazzle for her.
